Ram Lalla Darshan: CM Yogi And MLA’s To Visit Ayodhya Today

Preparations are being made in Ayodhya as state’s Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, along with Speaker Satish Mahana, cabinet ministers, and members of the UP Legislative Assembly and Legislative Council, will visit the Ram Temple for Ram Lalla’s darshan.
MLAs are going to Ayodhya via buses, and the CM is anticipated to arrive at the Ram Temple around noon.

ANI reported Ritesh Gupta, a BJP MLA from Moradabad, said that he was fortunate to get the opportunity to see Lord Ram Lalla.

“I am fortunate to get the opportunity to have the darshan of Lord Ram Lalla. After the Pran Pratishtha ceremony, everyone wanted to visit Ayodhya and have a darshan. Today, because of CM Yogi Adityanath, all the MLAs will be travelling to Ayodhya together,” Gupta said.

Meanwhile, BSP MLA Umashankar Singh said that one should not politicise this issue.
“The leaders of the Samajwadi Party are politicising the issue but we are not. Our party is secular and we respect all religions…One should not politicise this,” he said.
BJP MLA Mayankeshwar Sharan Singh said, “The entire country is happy. We are getting this opportunity after centuries. This generation is very lucky.”

Meanwhile, thousands of pilgrims visited the Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya on Saturday, seeking consolation in prayer and the heavenly darshan of Lord Ram.
People waited in long queues to see the deity.

MP CM Mohan Yadav orders to remove SDM from making woman tie shoelaces in Singrauli

Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Mohan Yadav has directed the immediate removal of a Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) assigned to the Singrauli district for forcing a woman to tie his shoelaces. CM Yadav has also stated that his government places a high priority on respecting women.

On Thursday, the Chief Minister office posted on X, “An incident wherein a SDM made a woman tie his shoelace in Chitrangi, Singrauli district has come to light, which is extremely condemnable. I have given instructions to remove the SDM from post with immediate effect. Women’s respect is paramount in our government.”
Notably, a picture of Chitrangi SDM Asvanram Chiravan surfaced on social media in which a woman was seen tying his shoelace following which the chief minister took action against him.

However, Chitrangi SDM Asvanram Chiravan has clarified the incident, saying that one of his staff members assisted him in tying his shoelace because he had been injured a few days prior and was having trouble bending.

“I suffered knee injuries on December 30 last year and since then I have been suffering a lot of problems while walking and sitting and my staff used to help me. On the day of Pran Pratishtha, January 22, a religious program was going on at Hanuman temple in Chitrangi. During this, I took off my shoes with the help of my leg and after the program I wore the shoes but my lace was not tied,” Chiravan said.

The opening ceremony of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya marked not only the installation of a new idol but also the planned relocation of the old Ram Lalla idol that reportedly appeared inside the Babri Masjid in 1949. The ceremony, celebrated by millions of Hindus worldwide, saw a new 51-inch black stone idol being placed in the sanctum sanctorum of the temple.

The old Ram Lalla idol, currently housed in a makeshift tent-like structure, will also be moved into the new temple and placed on the throne opposite the new idol. Nripendra Misra, the chairman of the temple construction committee, explained that both idols—newly sculpted and the one from 1949—will share the throne in the temple’s sanctum sanctorum.

After some rituals, priests will move the old deity from its temporary structure to the temple. The new idol, carved by Mysuru-based artist Arun Yogiraj, depicts Lord Ram dressed in a yellow dhoti with a golden crown, necklaces, and holding a golden bow and arrow.

The grand ‘pran pratishtha’ ceremony marked the beginning of the temple’s inauguration, attended by prominent figures across various fields. Prime Minister Narendra Modi led the proceedings, urging Indians to celebrate the event as Diwali—a festival symbolizing Lord Ram’s homecoming.

In a joyous celebration of the Pran Pratishtha ceremony of Ram Lalla’s idol in Ayodhya, several newborns in Madhya Pradesh’s Damoh district were bestowed with names honoring Lord Ram and Mata Sita on the auspicious day.

Dr. Vishal Shukla, Resident Medical Officer (RMO) of Damoh District Hospital, shared the heartwarming news, stating, “According to our culture, family members came along with women patients and started to name their children like Ram, Siya, Janki, Ayodhya Prasad.” The families expressed immense pride and happiness, considering the special occasion of the consecration in Ayodhya.

In the absence of specific requests for a special muhurat, Dr. Shukla highlighted that the naming tradition unfolded organically. Approximately 80 deliveries, including those in private hospitals, occurred across the district on Monday. Out of the 28 children born till midnight on January 22, there were 10 girls and 18 boys.

The Pran Pratishtha of Ram Lalla took place at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya on Monday, with the idol being unveiled during the hour-long rituals led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The ceremony attracted around 8,000 invitees, including 1,500-1,600 distinguished guests.

Assam ministers to visit Ayodhya Ram Temple on February 22

All Assam ministers are set to embark on a collective visit to Ayodhya on February 22, where they will seek darshan of Ram Lalla, announced State Tourism Minister Jayanta Malla Baruah. Expressing gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and extending greetings to the nation on the occasion of Pran Pratishtha of Ram Lalla at Ayodhya, the state cabinet marked the auspicious event with a series of decisions.

During the cabinet meeting, Minister Baruah revealed that approval was granted for the promotion of eligible Assistant Professors in provincialized colleges of the state. The cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, emphasized its appreciation for PM Modi’s role in the significant occasion.

On Republic Day, state ministers are slated to hoist national flags in various districts as part of the celebratory events. Additionally, the cabinet greenlit the Swahid Kanaklata Baruah State University Bill for establishment in Gohpur, to be introduced in the upcoming assembly session.

In a bid to foster comprehensive development in the Bodoland Territorial Council areas, the cabinet approved Rs 400 crore under the SOPD-G scheme. After the unveiling of the idol of Ram Lalla at Shri Ram Janmaboomi Temple in Ayodhya on Monday, devotees outside the Wadala Ram Temple in Mumbai celebrated the Pran Pratishtha of Ram Lalla by dancing and bursting crackers. The idol of Lord Ram was revealed in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who led rituals at the Pran Pratishtha ceremony in the sanctum sanctorum of the grand temple.

The ceremony unfolded in an atmosphere filled with a deep sense of devotion. The Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir, constructed in traditional Nagara style, boasts dimensions of 380 feet (east-west) in length, 250 feet in width, and 161 feet in height, supported by a total of 392 pillars and 44 doors. The pillars and walls intricately depict sculpted representations of Hindu deities, gods, and goddesses. The main sanctum sanctorum at the ground floor houses the idol of Shri Ramlalla, representing the childhood form of Bhagwan Shri Ram.

The Mandir complex includes various halls (Mandaps) like Nritya Mandap, Rang Mandap, Sabha Mandap, Prathana Mandap, and Kirtan Mandap. Nearby is a historic well (Sita koop) dating back to ancient times. The southwestern part of the complex, Kuber Tila, features the restored ancient temple of Bhagwan Shiv, along with a statue of Jatayu.

The foundation of the Mandir is constructed with a 14-meter-thick layer of roller-compacted concrete (RCC), providing an appearance of artificial rock, with no use of iron throughout. For protection against ground moisture, a 21-foot-high plinth has been constructed using granite. The Mandir complex incorporates a sewage treatment plant, water treatment plant, water supply for fire safety, and an independent power station, showcasing the use of traditional and indigenous technology in its construction.

Despite Congress invitation denial, Vikramaditya Singh attends Pran Pratishtha ceremony

Despite the Congress party’s refusal of the invitation to the Pran Pratishtha ceremony of Shri Ram Lalla in Ayodhya, Minister and party leader Vikramaditya Singh from Himachal Pradesh attended the grand event at the Ram Mandir. Himachal Pradesh PWD minister Vikramaditya Singh arrived in Ayodhya to witness the ceremony.

Earlier, Himachal Pradesh, under Congress rule, became the sole state to declare a half-day for all state government employees. The Congress had declined the invitation, referring to it as a ‘BJP/RSS event,’ with senior leaders like Mallikarjun Kharge, Sonia Gandhi, and Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury opting not to attend.

“Lord Ram is worshipped by millions in our country. Religion is a personal matter. But the RSS and BJP have long made a political project of the temple in Ayodhya. The inauguration of the incomplete temple by the leaders of the BJP and the RSS has obviously been brought forward for electoral gain. While abiding by the 2019 Supreme Court judgment and honoring the sentiments of millions who revere Lord Ram, Mallikarjun Kharge, Sonia Gandhi, and Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury have respectfully declined the invitation to what is clearly an RSS and BJP event,” the Congress stated.

“Treta Yug casts its shadow on Kalyug,” says Rambhadracharya

Ahead of the significant Pran Pratishtha ceremony of Ram Lalla at Ayodhya’s Ram Temple, Jagadguru Rambhadracharya has conveyed his best wishes to all followers of the ‘Sanatan’ religion, urging them to embody the values of Lord Ram in their lives. He expressed the desire for everyone to incorporate the noble characteristics of Lord Ram into their behaviors, emphasizing the auspiciousness of the occasion as Treta Yug casts its shadow on Kalyug. Jagadguru compared the joy of the Pran Pratishtha ceremony to the bliss felt when Lord Ram returned to Ayodhya from his ‘vanvaas’.

Responding to the question about individuals who declined the invitation to the grand event, Jagadguru invoked the phrase “Vinash Kaale Viprit Buddhi” and refrained from making further comments on them.

Yog Guru Ramdev, a witness to the Pran Pratishta, marked this event as a new beginning of Ram Rajya in the country. Reflecting on the journey from when Ram Lalla was housed in a tent to the grand temple being erected today, Ramdev stated, “A new history of Sanatana is being created today. With the Pran Pratishtha at Ram Temple, a new beginning of ‘Ram Rajya’ is taking place.”

Bageshwar Dham’s Dhirendra Shastri echoed these sentiments, describing the day as a proud one for India and the commencement of ‘Ram Rajya,’ expressing overwhelming happiness.

The ‘Pran Pratishtha’ of Ram Lalla, set for Paush Shukla Kurma Dwadashi, Vikram Samvat 2080, is scheduled for January 22. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat, Governor Anandiben Patel, and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, among other dignitaries, are expected to grace the ceremony. Odisha sculptor creates Ram Mandir replica using matchsticks

Saswat Ranjan, a sculpture from Odisha made a replica of the Ram Temple of Ayodhya ahead of the ‘Pran Pratishthan’ ceremony using only matchsticks in Puri. The artist said, “It took six days to complete this replica of Ayodhya’s Ram mandir. I used a total of 936 matchsticks to finish this project. The Ram Mandir replica has a length of 14 inches and a width of seven inches. I don’t think that it is possible to make a Ram Mandir replica using matchsticks smaller than this.” Ranjan further expressed his wish to present the replica to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Ayodhya goes under tight security blanket ahead of ‘Pran Pratishtha’

A strong security perimeter has been erected around the city, as the state police announced on Sunday, with just a few hours remaining to separate Ayodhya from Lord Ram’s eagerly anticipated return to his birthplace. The Pran Pratishtha ceremony is scheduled for Monday, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi will conduct the customs surrounding it. A limited number of seers will preside over the ceremony. Prior to the January 22 ceremony, Rapid Action Force (RPF) personnel were stationed at Lata Mangeshkar Chowk, despite the city emanating a joyous atmosphere. Officers stated that the police frequently patrolled the Sarayu River by boat.

At Ayodhya’s Maharishi Valmiki International Airport, dog squad and anti-bomb squad teams were also mobilized as pilgrims and dignitaries began to pour into the temple town. The officials stated that no one was permitted to enter the airport without a pass and that all vehicles entering and departing the airport were subject to extensive inspections. Officials say that in case of emergencies, the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) has established a camp close to the shrine in Ayodhya.

“Three NDRF teams have been deployed here ahead of the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony on January 22. The deployment has been done in coordination with the local administration and police,” Manoj Kumar Sharma, the deputy inspector general of police, NDRF told .

“One of our teams has been deployed at the ghats. We are ready to deal with all sorts of contingencies,” he added.
Praveen Kumar, IG, Ayodhya, said that necessary preparations in coordination with the agencies concerned have already been made to ensure watertight security in the city.
“The visitors have already started arriving for the ‘Pran Pratishtha’. We are ensuring close surveillance through drone cameras and human intelligence. All security loopholes are being identified and addressed on priority. We are confident that the mega event on January 22 will pass off without a hitch,” the Ayodhya IG said.

AIIMS, RML hospital declare half-day on Jan 22, critical clinical services to remain functional

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) and Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital in New Delhi have declared that on January 22, 2024, they will close for a half-day in observance of Ram Lalla ‘Pran Pratishtha,’ which is celebrated throughout India. All vital clinical services will, nevertheless, carry on as usual.

“The Government of India has declared Monday, January 22, 2024, a half day closing till 14.30 hrs, vide OM ref: F.No.12/7/2023- JCA, DOPT dated January 18, 2024, as Ram Lalla Pran Pratishtha at Ayodhya will be celebrated across India,” the premier medical institute said in a circular.
“It is notified for information of all the employees that the institute will remain half day closed till 14.30 hrs on January 22, 2024. All Chiefs of Centres, Heads of the Departments, Units and Branch Officers are requested to bring this to the notice of all staff working under them,” they added.

On January 22, there will be a ‘Pran Pratishtha’ of Shri Ram Lalla at the temple in Ayodhya. On Friday, the idol of Lord Ram was placed inside the Ayodhya temple’s sanctum sanctorum. The Deputy Inspector General of Police, Manoj Kumar Sharma, stated that three NDRF teams have been deployed in coordination with the local administration and police.
