Teenage cricket sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi keeps the meteoric rise going with a muscle-crushing performance which left cricket fans and selectors aghast. In a warm-up game at the BCCI Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru, the hard-hitting left-handed opening bat allegedly smashed 190 runs from only 90 deliveries in a practice match prior to India’s Under-19 tour of England.
Popular for his aggressive stroke play, Suryavanshi unleashed a breathtaking onslaught at the bowlers, hoisting many balls over the boundary. His IPL side, Rajasthan Royals, posted a video of his six-a-thons, which soon went viral to make him one of India’s brightest young talents in cricket.

Youngest IPL Debutant With Record-Breaking Knock
Suryavanshi made headlines earlier this year when he became the youngest ever player to play for the Indian Premier League at the age of 14 years and 23 days. Playing for Rajasthan Royals, he made a dramatic entry by hitting a six on his very first ball against Lucknow Super Giants in April 2025.
A week later, he penned history by hitting a 35-ball century against Gujarat Titans, becoming the youngest centurion in the history of IPL. His 11 sixes and 7 fours made fans and legends praise his batting.
In his first season with IPL, Suryavanshi scored 252 runs in only seven games at a breathtaking strike rate of 206.55—the best of the season. His explosive and calm batting technique played a crucial role in Rajasthan Royals’ journey.
Eyeing England Tour With Confidence
As the Indian U-19 squad gears up for its upcoming England tour, Suryavanshi’s recent form is proving to be a major boost. His ability to dismantle bowling attacks with flair and maturity at such a young age makes him a player to watch in the future.
With sheer guidance and with incredible natural ability, Vaibhav Suryavanshi is not only living up to the expectations—he’s transcending them. The cricketing fraternity now eagerly looks forward to his next international performance.
