Indian cricketer Kuldeep Yadav briefly uploaded photos on Instagram with his fiancée Vanshika, only to delete the post shortly after.  The post came just days after the couple’s engagement on June 4 in Lucknow, a private ceremony attended by close friends and family, including fellow cricketer Rinku Singh.

Kuldeep Yadav Deletes Fiancée’s Photo Days After Engagement

Vanshika, who works at LIC, is from Shyam Nagar in Lucknow and is a childhood friend of Kuldeep. Though fans were quick to react with joy when the post appeared, it was taken down almost immediately, leading to speculation about the reason. However, neither Kuldeep nor his team has offered any explanation.

The engagement marked a big personal moment for Kuldeep, who is now shifting his focus entirely to cricket. The spinner is gearing up for India’s upcoming Test series in England starting June 20. The couple’s wedding is expected after the tour, likely in November.

Fans Speculate While The Spinner Stays Focused

As India’s only specialist spinner on the England tour, Kuldeep is being eyed as a key figure in the bowling lineup. He has played only one Test match in England so far, where he bowled nine overs. However, with matches scheduled at spin-friendly venues like Birmingham, Lord’s, and The Oval, expectations from him are high.

Speaking about the team’s preparations, Kuldeep shared, “The wickets are looking good for spinners. There was help for seamers early on, but spinners got into the game as it progressed.” His words have fueled hopes that he will play a central role in the five-Test series.

With senior spinner R Ashwin now retired from Test cricket, Kuldeep also addressed how he’s building his chemistry with all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja. “Playing alongside Jaddu bhai is an honour. I’m learning a lot from him about field placements, tactics, and bowling to specific batters,” he said.

Even though the deleted post raised eyebrows, it seems Kuldeep’s mind is fully set on his game. Whether or not fans get another glimpse of the couple anytime soon remains to be seen.
