Vidhu P Nair becomes the new ambassador of India to Angola
Vidhu P Nair, currently serving as India’s ambassador to Turkmenistan, has been named the upcoming ambassador to Angola, as announced by the Ministry of External Affairs on Thursday. A member of the Indian Foreign Service Batch of 2002, Nair has previously held the position of Director within the ministry.
In an official statement, the Ministry of External Affairs stated, “Dr. Vidhu P. Nair (IFS:2002), presently Ambassador of India to Turkmenistan, has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to the Republic of Angola.” It was further mentioned that he is anticipated to assume the new role shortly.
