In Kurukshetra, a case involving the death of two youths has come to light. Police received information about two young men found on the road from Shahabad grain market to the village of Jandheri. Upon arrival, the police rushed them to the hospital, where doctors pronounced them dead.
Near the sugar mill in Shahabad, Kurukshetra, the bodies of the two youths were discovered in the fields along the roadside, creating a stir in the area. The suspicion of overdose has prompted the police to launch an investigation.
According to police reports: Early in the morning, pedestrians noticed two young men lying near the fields adjacent to the road leading from Shahabad grain market to the village of Jandheri. Concerned about a potential road accident, they promptly informed the police. A team, including DSP Randhir Singh, reached the location, and both individuals were transported to Shahabad Civil Hospital, where they were declared dead. Initial examinations revealed no signs of injury on their bodies, and a motorcycle was found parked nearby. Presently, the police have placed the bodies at Morchari House in Lok Nayak Jay Prakash Civil Hospital for a post-mortem examination conducted by a panel of doctors.
As per police officials: The police are initially suspecting death due to a narcotics overdose, but the exact cause will be determined by the post-mortem report.
The two deceased youths, identified as Satnam and Aman, around 25 years old and residing in the Madhavi Mohalla of Shahabad, were close friends frequently seen in the vicinity even late at night. Following the incident, a somber atmosphere has enveloped both families.
