In Kapurthala, Punjab, the body of an Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader has been found in a car under suspicious circumstances. The Bulath police station received information about the case. Upon reaching the scene, the police placed the body in the mortuary of Kapurthala Civil Hospital. SHO Harjinder Singh of the Bulath police station revealed that CCTV footage around the crime scene is under scrutiny, and the deceased has been identified as Sukhbir Singh from Gil village in Jalandhar.
According to the available information, AAP leader Sukhbir Singh had attended a wedding in Dalla village near Sultanpur Lodhi the previous day. However, late at night, his body was discovered in his car near Bulath. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the Bulath police reached the spot.
SHO Harjinder Singh of Bulath Police Station also mentioned that around 11:00 PM, a passerby noticed the individual’s car parked under the road. There was a person in the car. Subsequently, the passersby called Sukhbir and informed him about the incident.
SHO Harjinder Singh also informed that the passersby took Sukhbir to the hospital. Where the doctors declared him dead. Currently, the reason for the AAP leader’s death is unknown. No signs of any kind were found on the body. The cause of death will only be revealed after the post-mortem report is obtained.
