Som Prakash highlights ‘Developed India Resolution Yatra’ in Hoshiarpur

Central Minister of Commerce and Industry, Som Prakash, stated that at the current pace of progress in every sector, India will become a developed nation before 2047. He was addressing the villagers at Ajdham village in Hoshiarpur district during the event organized on the arrival of the ‘Developed India Resolution Yatra’ van. During this occasion, the conversation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi with the beneficiaries of the ‘Developed India Resolution Yatra’ in some parts of the country was showcased through webcasting in the village by N.I.C. Besides the Central State Minister, a large number of people gathered, including former Cabinet Minister Tikshan Sud, Bibi Mahinder Kaur Josh, Deputy Commissioner Komal Mittal, S.S. Surendra Lamba.
The Central State Minister mentioned that the way people are connecting with this resolution journey demonstrates their commitment to making India a developed nation. He informed that the ‘Developed India Resolution Yatra’ (V.B.S.Why) is currently underway in several districts of Punjab, including Hoshiarpur. Through this initiative, vans equipped with information material, videos, etc., are creating awareness among people about various schemes of the central government, and eligible beneficiaries are being facilitated to avail the benefits of different schemes at their doorstep.
He said that the Prime Minister is continuously striving to ensure that the benefits of the central government’s schemes reach the last eligible beneficiary. He elaborated on various schemes of the central government benefiting every citizen. During this, he handed over Ayushman cards to some beneficiaries. One of the women beneficiaries of the Prime Minister’s Housing Scheme (Rural) expressed her joy at being able to build her own house with financial assistance under the scheme. She was pleased to see a drone flying and heard enthusiastically about how the drone will assist farmers in their agricultural activities. The Indian government is promoting the use of drones in agriculture under its new scheme. He mentioned that today the Prime Minister inaugurated the Prime Minister Women Farmer Drone Center. This center will provide drones to women self-help groups (S.H.G.) to help them use this technology for livelihood support.
In the next three years, 15,000 drones will be made available to women self-help groups. Training will also be provided to women for flying and using drones. This initiative will encourage the use of technology in agriculture.
Present at the occasion were A.D.C. (Rural Development) Balraj Singh, S.D.M. Hoshiarpur Preetinder Singh Bains, Information and Broadcasting Ministry’s Field Publicity Officer Rajesh Bali, D.I.O. Pradeep Singh, Assistant Civil Surgeon Dr. Pawan Kumar, Deputy Medical Commissioner Dr. Harbans Kaur, B.D.P.O. Sukhvinder Singh, and various department heads, including Sarpanch Bhupinder Singh Pappu.
