In Punjab, three individuals, including a woman, have been apprehended in two distinct incidents for their involvement in drug-related activities, with a total of 550 grams of heroin seized, as reported by the police on Sunday.According to Senior Superintendent of Police Vatsala Gupta, two brothers, suspected of being engaged in drug smuggling, were apprehended while en route to Amritsar on a motorcycle. The interception occurred on the Jalandhar-Amritsar national highway near Subhanpur village. A subsequent search led to the discovery of 300 grams of heroin in their possession.In a separate incident in Kapurthala, the police arrested a woman and seized 250 grams of heroin from her. Legal proceedings have been initiated against all the accused individuals involved in these drug-related offenses.
