The Patiala Police has arrested an individual and a woman, seizing 3 kilograms 600 grams of opium, among other items. Varun Sharma, IPS, SSP Patiala, informed the press that, under the ongoing anti-narcotics campaign, a significant success was achieved by the Patiala Police when Inspector Prinsprit Singh Bhatti, Chief Officer, City Police Station, Rajpura, and DSP Surinder Mohan, Rajpura, led a team to intercept a suspicious couple during a routine check near T-Point, Kharaud Village, on 09.12.2023. The individuals identified themselves as Muneshwar Kumar Dangi, son of Sukhdev Mahto, resident of Unta Thana Sadar, Chatra District, Jharkhand, and Kiran Devi, wife of Kuldeep Ganju, resident of Baratari Post Office, Simaria District, Chatra, Jharkhand.
