The Border Security Force (BSF) personnel have once again foiled the attempts of Pakistani terrorists and smugglers. They intercepted a consignment of weapons sent via a drone, seizing Austrian-made Glock pistols. It is suspected that these weapons could have been intended for targeted killings by terrorists and gangsters.
As per information released by the BSF, the recovery was made in the village of Khalra in Tarn Taran. BSF officials reported that movement of the drone was observed by the jawans during the night. Subsequently, a search operation was launched in the area. The jawans first recovered a small quadcopter DJI Mavic-3 drone. Following this, the search operation continued, leading to the discovery of a yellow packet.
BSF officers revealed that the packet contained two pistols, both of Austrian make and modern Glock models. Experts suggest that such pistols are often employed in targeted killings. The recovery underscores the constant vigilance and proactive efforts of the BSF in curbing illicit activities along the border.
