The upcoming International Gita Jayanti festival will be celebrated in Kurukshetra from December 7 to December 24. In a media conversation, MLA Subhash Sudha mentioned that on December 17, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar will formally inaugurate the event. The Saras and Craft Fair, along with the recitation of shlokas by eighteen thousand school children, will be the main attractions.
Subhash Sudha further informed the media that all arrangements for the Gita Jayanti celebration are being meticulously organized. Special attention has been given to cleanliness, with the deployment of 100 sanitation workers. Additionally, a display of rate lists for food stalls will prevent any unauthorized price hikes. Sudha emphasized that stalls causing inconvenience to the public will not be tolerated, and a committee will regularly inspect the arrangements.
