Haryana, the country’s first G-20 monument will be built in Topra Kalan. The 3D design for the monument is already prepared. Soon, the village’s name will once again be inscribed in golden letters in the pages of history. Prior to this, the village set a record in the Limca Book of Records for having the country’s largest Ashoka Chakra established in the same village.
The entire project details of the monument, including a hard copy, will be sent to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The words spoken by PM Modi during the G20 Summit held in Delhi in September, “Hewam Loksaa Hitmukhet, Ath Iyam Namishu Hewam” (meaning: May the welfare and happiness of humanity always be ensured), will also be engraved on this monument. Additionally, this G-20 monument, to be constructed in the future in Topra Kalan, will be entirely in golden color. The Prime Minister will also receive a copy of the signatures of 600 villagers.
Apart from the monument, 20 national flags will also be installed, representing countries such as Italy, Japan, Mexico, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, South Korea, Australia, Britain, Turkey, Singapore, Canada, the United Kingdom, the United States, and others. Invitations will also be extended to the heads of these countries to witness the G-20 monument in Topra Kalan. Notably, on September 9 and 10, India hosted the G20 Summit, during which PM Modi mentioned the Ashoka Pillar in Feroz Shah Kotla, Delhi, brought from Topra Kalan village.
The monument will include a plantation area, along with a designated spot for taking selfies and an illumination point. A tower will also be constructed for a panoramic view, allowing future visitors to see the complete layout. The G-20 monument, situated on a 4-acre plot in Ashoka Park, will not only be a pride for the village but will also enhance India’s Vedic, Buddhist, and other cultural heritage on the global stage. A replica of this monument will be sent to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, along with signatures from 600 villagers.
