In the intervening night of January 15-16, two unknown thieves attempted a robbery at the State Bank of India located in Amlala village near here, but they were unsuccessful. Police have registered a case against two unknown persons and initiated further action.

According to the information received, Vimal Kumar, the manager of the State Bank of India branch in Amlala, informed the police in his complaint that two unknown persons entered the State Bank of India branch. At around 2 am on January 15-16, according to CCTV footage, unidentified individuals entered the branch by breaking the rolling shutter of the bank and attempted to break the cash cabinet, but they were unsuccessful. The unidentified persons also cut the wires of 02 CCTV cameras, after which both individuals ran away.

Around 8 in the morning, the bank staff observed that the locks of the rolling shutters were broken. They immediately informed the police. After visiting the spot, the police registered a case against two unknown people under sections 380, 511, 427 of the Indian Penal Code and started searching for the absconding individuals.
