A minor dispute within the same family in the village of Khedi Jasaur in Bahadurgarh turned into a murder case. Suspected in the ongoing feud two days ago, an elderly disabled person from one side was stabbed to death with a knife while sleeping in his home. The attackers stabbed the elderly person 22 times in this assault. The daughter-in-law who came to the rescue during the attack also suffered injuries.
According to information received, the incident occurred at around 2 am on Monday night. The police have sent the body for a post-mortem examination. Meanwhile, the police have registered a case against 10 people from the accused side. The deceased has been identified as 68-year-old Om Prakash, a resident of the village. He was sleeping in an external room of the house. At around 2 am that night, people from the side of the attackers entered the house and carried out a brutal attack on the elderly person. When his daughter-in-law Jyoti intervened upon hearing the commotion, she was also attacked with a knife and got injured.
After brutally stabbing the elderly person with a knife, the attackers fled. When relatives brought him to the hospital, the doctors declared him dead. As soon as the information was received, several police teams reached the scene. A case has been registered based on the statement of the injured woman Jyoti. No arrests have been made yet. The police mentioned that there was a dispute between both sides over a drain on Sunday. In the same dispute, this murder took place. Police teams have been sent in search of the attackers.
