Devastating blaze hits steel utensil factory in Kundli industrial area

A massive fire broke out on Wednesday night in a steel utensil manufacturing factory located in the Kundli Industrial Area, adjacent to the Delhi border in Sonipat, Haryana. Due to dense fog, there was a delay in the arrival of fire brigade vehicles from other districts.

The machines in the factory and new utensils were burnt and turned into scrap. The fire could not be completely controlled even after several hours, and smoke continued to emerge even in the morning. Thirteen fire brigade vehicles reached the scene to extinguish the fire, but there was significant damage.

A sudden fire broke out in the utensils factory operating under the name SNB in Kundli Industrial Area at around 11 pm. The factory produced steel utensils under the brand name Classic Essentials. Factory manager Ashok Mittal mentioned that the factory is closed at night, and the fire was reported by the guard at 11 pm. Subsequently, the fire brigade was informed.

Fire brigade officer Yasin Khan stated that there was a fire in the SNB Nathupur factory, and the cause of the fire has not been determined yet. The factory incurred substantial damage, with the entire shed at the back of the factory burnt to ashes.
More than 13 fire brigade vehicles were called from different places, and due to dense fog, they faced delays in reaching the spot, exacerbating the fire. The situation was challenging due to the fog.
