In a search conducted at Firozpur’s Central Jail, authorities and personnel discovered one mobile phone and 38 capsules filled with narcotics among the prisoners. The police have registered a case against jail officials and unknown individuals based on the statement of the jail superintendent. Assistant Inspector Gurmil Singh mentioned that on the basis of secret information, they recovered a Samsung mobile phone from inmate Sukhvinder Singh alias Bittu, son of Magh Singh from the Bairak number 3 block, along with 38 narcotic capsules found inside a pipe filled with waste. Inspector Gurmil Singh stated that the police have initiated further action by registering a case against the accused in this matter.
