On the complaint of a resident of Chandigarh, the police have registered a case against three individuals for cheating him of Rs 25 lakh. The police have initiated further action after registering the case against the accused. The accused have been identified as Mohit Gawri, a resident of Chandigarh Sector 10, Ambuj Bansal, a resident of Sector 66 Mohali, and Richa Solanki, a resident of Zirakpur. Police are currently conducting raids to locate them.

In the complaint filed with the police, Bhupinder Singh, a resident of Sector 35, Chandigarh, alleged that the three accused are partners in Sai Associates. They had taken Rs 25 lakh from him and had promised to return the money within a year. In exchange for the money, they had entered into a property deal with him in Zirakpur. However, after a year had passed, they neither returned the money nor registered the property given as security. When the complainant started demanding the money after a year, the accused began evading him. As a result, he suspected that the three accused had collectively defrauded him.

The complainant reported the incident to SSP Mohali, and after a police investigation and consultation with DDA Legal, SSP Mohali ordered the filing of the complaint. The police have registered a case of fraud and have initiated further action.[
