HC issues notice to CBI on bail plea moved by Delhi CM Kejriwal; lists next hearing for July 17
On Wednesday, the CBI formally arrested Delhi Chief Minister and AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal in connection with the Delhi excise policy case.
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) presented Kejriwal in Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court on Wednesday, stating that they could have taken this action before the 2024 Lok Sabha elections but chose not to.
On Tuesday evening, the CBI questioned Kejriwal in Delhi’s Tihar Jail and recorded his statement related to the Excise Policy case.
