The police in Zirakpur arrested a youth on charges of drug trafficking. The police recovered 10 grams of heroin from the accused. Following the interrogation, the police registered a case against the accused under the NDPS Act. The identified accused is Vipan, a resident of Metro Plaza, Lohgarh. SHO Simarjeet Singh Shergill mentioned that Vipan was apprehended by the police during a checkpoint while he was riding a motorcycle towards his home in Lohgarh.
