The Prime Minister in his Bikaner speech on Thurs- day said the money spent by the government to build infrastructure increases employment as well as business. Also, when this infrastructure is ready, the farmer’s produce reaches the market at a lower price, new industries are set up and tourism gets a boost.
He said that Rajasthan is also getting a big benefit from the work being done on infrastructure. Today, good roads are being built in every village and border areas of Rajasthan. Addressing Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma as the popular Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Modi said that the double engine government of the Centre and the State is working rapidly for the industrial development of Rajasthan. The work of Rajasthan’s refinery is also in the final stage.
This will make Rajasthan a major hub of petroleum based industries. Amritsar-Jamnagar Economic Corridor and Delhi-Mumbai Expressway will take industrial development in Rajas- than to new heights. Increasing electricity production is also giving new impetus to industrial development in Rajasthan.
The Prime Minister said that Bikaner will also get the benefit of new industrial policies issued by Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma’s government for different sectors. The taste of Bikaneri Bhujia and the sweetness of Bikaneri Rasgullas will further increase its recognition across the world. He said that today itself, foundation stone and inauguration of schemes related to health, water and electricity have been done in many areas.
The only goal of all these efforts is that Rajasthan should move forward rapidly and the youth here should get good opportunities in their city itself. Prime Minister Modi said that more than 40 thousand people have joined the PM Surya Ghar Free Electricity Scheme in Rajasthan.
Due to this, the electricity bill of the people has become zero and people have also got a way to earn by generating solar energy. Recalling the contribution of Maharaja Ganga Singh Ji who brought greenery to western Rajasthan, he said that water is needed for the development of many areas of Rajasthan.
For this, on one hand irrigation projects are being completed and at the same time rivers are also being linked. He said that many districts of Rajasthan will benefit from the Parvati-KalisindhChambal link project.
