Who Is Cindy Rodriguez Singh? FBI’s Most Wanted Woman in US for Allegedly Killing Her Child

FBI has placed Cindy Rodriguez Singh on its most wanted list for reportedly murdering her six-year-old boy, Noel Alvarez, and leaving for India. The Texas mom went missing in March 2023 with her husband Arshdeep Singh and six children. Police suspect she killed her son and left for India without him.

The FBI has increased the reward for any information about her to $250,000, from the initial $25,000. There is an active federal warrant against her for illegal flight to evade prosecution.

Who is Cindy Rodriguez Singh?

Cindy Rodriguez Singh was born in 1985 and resided in Dallas, Texas. She is 5’1″-5’3″ tall, weighing 120-140 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair. She also has multiple tattoos—located on her back, both legs, right arm, right hand, and right calf.

She is charged with Capital Murder in Tarrant County, Fort Worth, Texas, in an indictment in October 2023. One month later, a warrant for fleeing prosecution was issued against her by the federal government.

Disappearance of Noel Alvarez

The case started when Noel Alvarez was last spotted in October 2022. Bizarrely, the family failed to report him missing until March 2023. The delay created a red flag. It was in March that the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services requested the Everman Police Department to conduct a welfare check on Noel.

Cindy lied during the visit. She told authorities that Noel was in Mexico with his biological father and had been in Mexico since November 2022. However, there was no evidence to support this claim.

The Flight to India

Only two days after the welfare check, Cindy, husband Arshdeep, and six of their other children took an international flight to India. The FBI confirmed Noel was not on the flight. He did not take the flight, and nobody has been able to find him since.

Police believe Cindy has not returned to the US since the flight. Her vanishing and missing child prompted an Amber Alert in Texas.

FBI’s Search and Massive Reward

Labelled a flight risk, Cindy is now a high-priority target for the FBI. To aid the search, the FBI has offered a $250,000 reward for any information that could lead to her arrest. The agency suspects she may still be in India or hiding in areas with ties to her or her husband’s background.

With the case attracting national attention, the FBI is still calling on the public and foreign authorities to assist in the whereabouts of Cindy Rodriguez Singh and bringing justice for Noel Alvarez.
