The Indian Army on Sunday gave the nation a look into the high-stakes military engagement codenamed Operation Sindoor, conducted between May 7 and 10 in response to hostilities from Pakistan.

Army Releases Video of Missile and Drone Interceptions

A video shared by the Army’s Western Command on the social media platform X displayed how India neutralised missile and drone attacks launched by Pakistan. The attacks reportedly involved advanced weaponry such as the Chinese A-100 multiple rocket launcher system, Fatah II, and Shaheen missiles. Pakistan also deployed drones in a coordinated strike on several Indian locations.

The video footage highlighted India’s use of the S-400 missile defence system to intercept incoming threats. The operation was described by the Army as a demonstration of “ruthless precision, raw power, and fierce pride.”

BrahMos Missiles Used in Counterstrike

In retaliation, India launched BrahMos missiles targeting strategic military locations inside Pakistan. The video claims that India’s counter-offensive caused severe damage to several Pakistani military bases.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah confirmed the use of BrahMos missiles during a speech in Ahmedabad. He also stated that Pakistan’s air defence system, sourced from China, failed to respond during the Indian strikes, exposing its vulnerability.

Operation Sindoor: A Strategic Turning Point

Amit Shah praised the Indian Air Force for carrying out precise attacks, calling Operation Sindoor a historic moment for India’s border security. He emphasized that the operation would be remembered as a symbol of India’s strength and strategic capabilities in modern warfare.
