Prime Minister Modi to unveil ambitious plans during Jharkhand visit

In a historic visit to Jharkhand on November 14th-15th, 2023, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to mark several milestones, demonstrating the government’s commitment to inclusive development. A significant highlight will be the Prime Minister’s visit to Ulihatu Village, the birthplace of Bhagwan Birsa Munda, making him the first PM to do so.
On the occasion of Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas, PM Modi is scheduled to launch the ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra,’ a mission aimed at ensuring the saturation of flagship government schemes. The Yatra will focus on raising awareness and providing the benefits of welfare schemes to all targeted beneficiaries across the nation.
Another groundbreaking initiative to be unveiled is the ‘Pradhan Mantri Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PM PVTG) Mission,’ with a budget of approximately Rs 24,000 crore. This mission aims to provide basic facilities to the 75 PVTGs residing in 220 districts, including road and telecom connectivity, electricity, housing, clean drinking water, education, healthcare, and sustainable livelihood opportunities.During the visit, the Prime Minister will release the 15th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN), amounting to around Rs. 18,000 crores, benefiting over 8 crore farmers. This move underscores the government’s unwavering commitment to the welfare of farmers.
Additionally, PM Modi will inaugurate, dedicate to the nation, and lay the foundation stone for projects totaling around Rs. 7200 crores in various sectors, including rail, road, education, coal, petroleum, and natural gas. These projects include the four-laning of crucial road sections, a coal handling plant, academic and administrative buildings, and railway electrification.The Prime Minister’s visit is anticipated to set the stage for transformative developments, emphasizing the government’s dedication to comprehensive and equitable progress across the nation.
