Be it women youth or farmers, Kartikeya Sharma, an MP is becoming the voice of all sections of the society. Besides, in a bid to ensure the facilities and fulfillment of interest of the deprived sections, he is raising the concern issues in the House.
While reacting to a bill moved in the parliament, he said that the Prime Minister Narender Modi led-government is committed for the interest of deprived, backward and needy sections of the society. Further said that unlike previous governments, the BJP-led government continues to come up with every possible effort to fulfill the interests of the deprived class and the bill presented in the House is an effort in this direction. The government is continuously bringing beneficial schemes for the people. In this direction, the government has brought 26 schemes with a budget of Rs 675 crore under Amrit Yojana and out of this, the projects worth an amount of Rs 381 crore have been completed. Further, while placing the information on the table of the House, Kartikeya Sharma said that under Amrit Yojana-2, an amount of Rs. 2885 has been approved for Delhi, out of which an amount of Rs. 1157.99 crore has been released. Apart from this, an amount of Rs 216 crore has been released out of total allocation of Rs 349 crore for the common people under the Swachh Bharat Yojana.
To ensure a better environment and hygiene out of 15554 TPD waste, 9167 TPD waste has been processed and thus 92 percent waste has been processed. Also, an amount of Rs 1192 crore n allocated for solid waste management under Swachh Bharat Abhiyan-2 Urban for the construction of toilets under Water Management and Capacity Building Measure respectively.
He further said that in view of the winter season, shelter homes are also being constructed in urban areas. As many as 216 home shelters sanctioned, of which 193 have been built while work pertaining to the remaining 23 is under process.
Apart from this, licence and ID cards are to be issued to 79952 vendors and out of these, more than 56 thousand have been issued so far. Apart from this, PM Awas Yojana is continuously emerging as a big game changer and is a ray of hope for the needy sections.
