A Pakistani intruder trying to enter Indian soil was gunned down by the Border Security Force (BSF) in Punjab’s Ferozepur sector during the night intervening May 7 and 8, sources told ANI.
The man was spotted intentionally crossing the International Border and moving towards the border security fence at night. BSF personnel confronted the intruder, and on his refusal to obey, fired, ANI said.
After sunrise, the body of the deceased was retrieved and handed over to local police for further proceedings.
