As tensions rise between India and Pakistan following the Pahalgam terror attack, a number of Pakistani actors such as Fawad Khan and Hania Aamir have come under intense criticism and mounting calls for boycotts. In the midst of this controversy, Hania Aamir came forward to express solidarity with her close friend rapper Badshah.

On Instagram, Hania supported Badshah’s new song, Galiyon Ke Ghalib, by reposting the teaser on her Stories. She had a warm caption that stated, “Banaya tu ne Ghalib. Finally (smile emoticon).” Badshah previously posted the teaser, stating, “Galiyon ke Ghalib. Out on 30/4. 11:00 am.”

Hania shows support to Badshah

Hania and Badshah have the reputation for being good friends and regularly support one another across social media networks.

Hania’s Reaction to the Pahalgam Attack

Prior to this outpouring of support, Hania Aamir had also responded to the tragic incident in Pahalgam. In a heartfelt Instagram Story, she said, “A tragedy wherever it may be is a tragedy for all of us. My heart goes out to the innocent lives impacted by what has happened. In pain, in sorrow, and hope—there is one of us. When innocent lives are lost, the suffering is not their own—it is ours.”. Wherever we may be from, sorrow is universal. Let us opt for humanness, always.

Her message arrived at a time when sentiments were running high, and the controversy regarding Pakistani artists’ inclusion in Indian projects was gaining momentum.

About the Pahalgam Terror Attack

The Pahalgam terror attack, which is one of the most fatal attacks in Kashmir in recent history, took at least 26 lives. Terrorists, who came down from hills on April 22, about 3 pm, fired at tourists who had assembled in the picturesque valley region of Baisaran close to Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir.

After the attack, Union Home Minister Amit Shah had visited the spot at Baisaran in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district. On his visit, Shah denounced the act strongly and promised justice, saying that the nation “will never bow to terrorism” and assured that the perpetrators of the “heinous act” would be punished.
