Mumbai-Bound IndiGo Flight Lands Safely After Bomb Threat Message
IndiGo has issued a press statement regarding flight 6E 5314, which was operating from Chennai to Mumbai and received a bomb threat. This happened just a few days after a Varanasi-bound IndiGo Aircraft at Delhi’s IGI Airport received a bomb threat that prompted the evacuation of 174 passengers and two children on Tuesday morning.
Following its landing in Mumbai, the crew adhered to protocol, and the aircraft was moved to an isolation bay in line with security agency guidelines.
IndiGo stated, “All passengers have safely disembarked the aircraft.” The aircraft is presently undergoing inspection. Once all security checks are completed, it will be repositioned back to the terminal area.
