Two Deaths Reported, Hospitals Overwhelmed
Officials confirmed that a 70-year-old man died on arrival at Vyasanagar Hospital, while a 34-year-old man died at the Danagadi Community Health Centre. Both are believed to have been victims of the outbreak.
Several blocks, including Dharamsala, Jajpur, Danagadi, Korei, and Rasulpur, are among the worst affected. Hospitals in these areas are reportedly overwhelmed with patients showing gastrointestinal symptoms.

ASHA and Anganwadi workers, along with a state-level team, are visiting homes, collecting water and stool samples to trace the source of the infection.
Focus on Clean Water and Hygiene
The district administration is urging people to drink only boiled or disinfected water. The Rural Water Supply and Sanitation department is disinfecting drinking water sources to prevent further spread.
