A comment from a Congress leader saying that the party wants its leaders to get ready to compete in all seven Lok Sabha seats in Delhi in 2024 pllos has caused a disagreement with the Aam Aadmi Party. The Aam Aadmi Party is part of a new opposition group called I.N.D.I.A.
Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge and party MP Rahul Gandhi had a lengthy three-hour meeting with their senior colleagues in Delhi today.
During the meeting, they talked about various plans for the upcoming 2024 elections.
Following the meeting, Congress leader Alka Lamba said, “We spoke on strengthening the organisation and getting ready for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections,” seven seats and seven months are available.

Shortly after, Deepak Babaria, who is in charge of the Congress party in Delhi, said that this came after the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) expressed their “surprise” and raised questions about the purpose of the I.N.D.I.A bloc if parties are going to go solo.
AAP leader Vinay Mishra expressed his astonishment at the Congress leader’s statement. He questioned the rationale behind the I.N.D.I.A alliance following such statements.
AAP Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj stated that this will be decided by our central leadership in response to a question, that the issue will be discussed by our political affairs committee as well as I.N.D.I.A parties.
