Agra Nightmare: KG Student Slapped 30 Times, Licked, And Left In Toilet By Class 2 Student

A six-year-old kindergarten student’s distressing sleep-talking has unveiled a disturbing pattern of alleged mental and physical abuse at the hands of an eight-year-old classmate, leaving his parents reeling. The child’s parents reported that their son began exhibiting signs of severe distress, including mumbling “he will hit me” during sleep, which ultimately led to the revelation of the alleged abuse.

According to reports, the young boy, during a consultation with a doctor, recounted a series of harrowing incidents, including being slapped multiple times, locked in a bathroom, forced to lick spit, and threatened with death by the older student, who is in second grade.

Month-Long Illness and Refusal to Attend School

The child’s parents stated that their son had refused to attend school since March 4th and had been suffering from an unexplained fever for over a month. Despite consulting multiple doctors and undergoing various tests, the cause of his illness remained elusive. “My son refused to go to school on March 4th. He was unwell for over a month, and we didn’t know the cause even after consulting 3-4 doctors in Agra and doing multiple tests. A week ago, he began mumbling in his sleep, saying, ‘He will hit me’. During his counselling, he then started sharing his ordeal with a doctor in Agra,” the child’s mother said.

Video Evidence and Police Intervention

A video recording, obtained by the parents during their son’s consultation with the doctor, reportedly captures the child detailing the alleged abuse. In the video, the boy claims the older student spat on his shoes and forced him to lick them, before slapping him numerous times and threatening him. “He also threatened to strangle me…” the child stated in the recording.

The parents subsequently filed a complaint with the Agra police on March 5th. Agra’s Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) confirmed that an investigation is underway. “Yes, we’re probing this matter. I called both sides on March 8th. Further action will be initiated once we hear from them,” the ACP stated.

School’s Response and Conflicting Accounts

The school’s headmistress stated that she is personally addressing the matter. She acknowledged that the victim had been a student at the school since nursery and had some pre-existing medical issues. “On March 4th, his parents complained to me. I constituted a panel. The bus attendant (in which both the pupils used to travel) was suspended and we’re examining the CCTV on the vehicle. The accused pupil was told not to attend school and I summoned his parents and informed them about the allegations,” she said.

The headmistress confirmed the allegations that the second-grade student allegedly “mentally harassed” the child, locked him in the lavatory, slapped him on the school bus, and insulted him in front of other students.

However, the father of the accused second-grade student refuted the allegations, claiming that the incident had been “blown out of proportion.” “My son attends tuition, badminton, and music classes, and we’ve never received a single complaint so far. There may have been an incident between pupils on the bus, but it has been blown out of proportion,” he stated.

The investigation into the matter remains ongoing.
