Among the latest releases, Tyler Perry’s Straw has captured massive attention, quickly crossing 74 million views in just two weeks, making it the biggest hit on Netflix this year.

The movie tells the story of single mother Janiyah Wilkinson, played by Taraji P. Henson, as she faces a tough day while caring for her sick daughter. Following closely is the French action-thriller K.O., starring Ciryl Gane as Bastien, a former MMA fighter who helps a widow search for her missing child in Marseille’s dangerous underworld. It gained 19.4 million views.
