Among the latest releases, Tyler Perry’s Straw has captured massive attention, quickly crossing 74 million views in just two weeks, making it the biggest hit on Netflix this year.

Tyler Perry’s Straw is at the top of the Netflix most-watched films list, earning 74.2 million views in just two weeks. The movie tells the story of single mother Janiyah Wilkinson, played by Taraji P. Henson, as she faces a tough day while caring for her sick daughter. As a result, fans praised its emotional story and shocking surprises.
Following closely is the French action-thriller K.O., starring Ciryl Gane as Bastien, a former MMA fighter who helps a widow search for her missing child in Marseille’s dangerous underworld. It gained 19.4 million views.
Meanwhile, Mark Monroe’s documentary Titan: The OceanGate Submersible Disaster looks at the 2023 Titan sub tragedy. It includes interviews, whistleblower accounts, and footage, attracting 17.4 million views.
Finally, the sci-fi romance Our Times follows two Mexican physicists who travel from 1966 to 2025, challenging their relationship as they adjust to modern life. It earned 7.1 million views.
