The drama surrounding Blake Lively’s movie It Ends With Us remains in the headlines. Following previous headlines regarding on-set drama and a high-profile courtroom battle, new remarks from actor Adam Mondschein have provided another chapter to the ongoing ordeal.

Blake Lively sued co-star and producer Justin Baldoni last year, accusing him of running a smear campaign to tarnish her reputation as well as sexually harassing her. The lawsuit also mentioned a specific childbirth scene in which Blake complained that she was left feeling ‘invasive and humiliated’ because of how it was filmed.

Now, actor Adam Mondschein, who appeared in the film playing Dr. Dunbar, has spoken out about the incident in an interview with Page Six, with surprise at Blake’s account of their scene together.

Adam Mondschein Breaks Silence

“I won’t speculate about Ms. Lively’s reasons for including me in the complaint,” Adam said. “Obviously, my experience working with her is quite different from the one she portrayed in her lawsuit. In fact, I was taken aback to read her characterization of the scene.”

He continued to explain his version, stating the scene was absolutely professional.

No ‘Unusual or Improper’ Conduct?

As per Adam, “Her costume consisted of a complete hospital gown, black shorts and torso-covering prosthetics to make her look pregnant along with whatever personal clothing she wore. [She] never complained or showed discomfort at any time because nothing out of the ordinary or improper happened. It was completely professional.”

He also objected to the lawsuit’s allegations about his involvement, saying, “Ms. Lively’s innuendos about my qualifications are offensive, as my bonafides are quite easily accessible online.”

The contentious scene in question was Adam’s character helping Blake’s character give birth. Blake’s lawsuit claimed that the actor’s face and hands were placed near her genital area and that any other actor could have played the role, but Baldoni allegedly chose a close friend instead.

Blake Lively’s accusations against Justin Baldoni originally appeared in December last year, and tensions have only risen ever since. Baldoni has issued a countersuit in defense of his stance. The court trial is now set for March 2026, as both camps gear up for a high-profile legal battle.
