‘Act Your Age’: Megyn Kelly Slams Charlize Theron Over Dating Confession

Charlize Theron recently made headlines after appearing on the Call Her Daddy podcast. She spoke openly about dating a younger man and her views on sex and independence.

“I did just recently fck a 26-year-old, and it was really amazing… I’ve never done that. And I was like, ‘Oh, this is great,’” she said. She also joked about not getting invited to Jeff Bezos’ wedding. Then she added, “Women should be the ones that are like, ‘Fck you, I’m going to have an orgasm.’”

Megyn Kelly Criticizes Her Comments

Talk show host Megyn Kelly didn’t appreciate Theron’s remarks. On her show, she slammed both Theron and the podcast.

“She’s 49 years old. She’s trying to sound like she’s 26 years old, and it’s inappropriate. It feels weird. She’s one of our biggest stars, that’s true. Act like it… have some class,” Kelly said.

She also criticized Theron’s attitude toward relationships and parenting. “Here she doubles down on how little she needs a man in her life. Hello, back to my theory. Even when it comes to child rearing,” she added.

Theron Has Spoken About Sexuality Before

This wasn’t the first time Charlize spoke about her personal choices. In 2017, during an episode of Watch What Happens Live, she addressed her sexual history. When asked if she had ever “dipped in the lady pond,” she replied, “When I was young, yes. I mean, it’s just so not a big deal. I’m so old school I really like dudes.”

Fans React Online

Soon after the podcast aired, fans took to social media to respond. Many supported Theron’s right to live her life as she wants. One person commented, “She is fine. If he is not married and she is not either, and they both consent, who tfs business is it to judge? You?”

Another wrote, “Good for her. What’s inappropriate is that you had a comment about it. Mind your own business.”

Some Agree with Megyn Kelly

Despite the support, not everyone defended Theron. A section of the internet agreed with Kelly’s criticism. “There is no class in Hollywood anymore,” one user commented.
