Shakira Expresses Regret Over Cancellation
“I am very sad that I will not be able to take the stage today. I have been deeply emotional and excited about reuniting with my beloved Peruvian audience,” she wrote in her post.
Arrival in Peru and Tour Plans
Shakira arrived in Peru on Friday evening and had planned to perform on Sunday and Monday as part of her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran tour. This concert was the second stop on her Latin American tour, which began with two shows in Brazil the previous week.

Upon her arrival, fans gave Shakira a warm welcome by gathering at airports. “Thank you for such an emotional welcome, Lima!” she posted on Instagram on Saturday.

Tour Continues Across Latin America
Shakira’s tour is in support of her latest album, Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran. The album features the global hit “Shakira: Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53” and won Best Latin Pop Album at the 2024 Grammy Awards. After wrapping up in Latin America, the tour will continue with concerts in Canada and the U.S. starting in May and running through June.
