Sweden’s Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia have been blessed with a fourth child, a baby girl.

The baby princess was born on Friday in Stockholm. The newborn weighs 3,645 grams or 8 pounds and measures 49 centimeters or 19 inches. However, her name and photograph are yet to be made public.

Prince Carl Philip is the fourth in line to the Swedish throne. He and Princess Sofia, whom he married in June 2015, already have three sons: Prince Alexander, Prince Gabriel, and Prince Julian.

Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson and the government extended their congratulations to the royal family. “We wish the family all the best,” Kristersson stated.

The Swedish monarchy, though strictly ceremonial and holding no political authority, remains very popular, having maintained good support from the otherwise relatively egalitarian Nordic nation.
