The Traitors Finale: Uorfi Javed, Nikita Luther Beat All Odds to Win ₹70 Lakhs

The Traitors: Uorfi Javed and Nikita Luther emerged as the winners of the first season of The Traitors, a reality show hosted by Karan Johar. In the last episode, Uorfi and Nikita voted out fellow innocent Sudhanshu Pandey, as well as traitors Harsh Gujral and Purav Jha. The prize amount of ₹70 lakhs was split between Uorfi and Nikita.

Final Episode Highlights: Suspicion, Betrayal, and Elimination

The final episode opened with the shaq circle, where the contestants eliminated Apoorva Mukhija. On the final day, Harsh Gujral and Purav Jha killed Jasmin Bhasin. That left us with, the top 5 contestants who made it to the grand finale, Uorfi, Nikita, Sudhanshu, Purav and Harsh. The major giveaway came when Purav planned his subsequent move with Harsh in the billiard room, which Uorfi overheard from outside. In the first shaq round, Uorfi named Purav as a traitor, leading to his elimination.

Trust and Triumph: How Uorfi and Nikita Took the Title

After that, Uorfi and Nikita trusted each other to eliminate the traitors in the finale. In the end, the two women outlasted everyone and won the show. They shared the prize money of ₹70,05,000.Uorfi revealed that she could not believe that she had won the show as a simple and innocent girl and that winning the title was a reply to everyone who had doubted her from day one. At the same time, Nikita, who shockingly exited on the first day, appeared ecstatic when the show announced her as the co-winner.

Format of the Show: Innocents vs Traitors

The program had a cast of contestants, and they have to collaborate to find out the Traitors among the Innocents. The Innocents’ responsibility is to identify the Traitors and vote them out prior to being ‘killed’ in the game. The original series of the reality show is Dutch, by the title De Verraders. There are American and British versions of the program too.

Meet the Contestants of The Traitors India

The Indian version of The Traitors features a total of 20 contestants. These include Purav Jha, Karan Kundrra, Harsh Gujral, and Ashish G Vidyarthi. Apoorva, also known as Rebel Kid, is part of the lineup as well. Other participants are Uorfi Javed, Jasmine Bhasin, Lakshmi Manchu, and Raftaar. The list continues with Elnaaz Norouzi, Nikita Luther, and Anshula Kapoor.

Raj Kundra, Janvi Gaur, and Maheep Kapoor also joined the cast. Completing the list are Jannat Zubair, Mukesh Chhabra, Sudhanshu Pandey, Sahil Salathia, and Sufi Motiwala. The Traitors can be streamed on Prime Video. The makers of the show announced a second season a few days ago.
