Gauri Khan’s Mumbai restaurant Torii has a secret entrance for her husband Shah Rukh Khan and the children Aryan, Suhana and AbRam. In a chat with SCREEN, head chef at the restaurant Stefan Gadit discussed the ‘secret door’ for the Khans and their favorite foods at the restaurant.
Exclusive Access and Dining Habits of the Khan Family
Stefan uncovered that Shah Rukh and the family regularly dine in at the restaurant or order home when they are unable to visit there. He also uncovered that there is a ‘secret door’ especially for the Khans where they could go in and out of the location. He also disclosed that the doorway is only entered by a handful of celebrities and, naturally, the Khans. “Not everyone has a key to the secret doorway; it’s for the Khans,” the chef said.
Favorite Dishes and Dining Preferences Revealed by Khan
In the same interview, the head chef spoke about how AbRam often orders food from the restaurant and how Suhana and Aryan hang out there with their friends. He claimed that Shah Rukh and Gauri’s youngest son liked the sushi there, while the actor himself liked the lamb chops, and Gauri liked the Thai curry. Recently, they also celebrated Shah Rukh’s manager Pooja Dadlani’s birthday there.
SRK’s Film Break and Suhana’s Big-Screen Debut
Audiences last saw Shah Rukh Khan in the 2023 releases Pathaan, Jawan, and Dunki. He then went on a break after that from shooting and is now working on Siddharth Anand’s King. The movie will also feature his daughter Suhana in her acting debut. She debuted with Netflix’s The Archies,
Gauri’s restaurant Torii opened last year on Valentine’s Day. The reality show Fabulous Lives Of Bollywood Wives also featured it, with Sussanne Khan, Maheep Kapoor, Bhavana Pandey, Neelam Kothari, and Seema Sajdeh attending the opening.
