Priyanka Chopra is eagerly counting down to the release of her upcoming action-comedy ‘Heads of State’. The movie also co-stars John Cena and Idris Elba. The movie is set to release on July 2, 2025. But before it reaches global audiences, her family in India got an early sneak peek. Priyanka couldn’t help but feel a little left out.
Her mother Madhu Chopra, brother Siddharth Chopra, and sister-in-law Neelam Upadhyaya organized a private screening of the film in India. They posed for photos in front of a movie poster, thrilled to see Priyanka on the big screen once again. Sharing the moment on Instagram, Priyanka posted a picture of them and wrote, “When your family hosts a screening back home. FOMO. Miss you all.”
Priyanka Chopra Talks Working With Cena and Elba
In an interview with Money Control, Priyanka opened up about what it was like filming alongside action stars John Cena and Idris Elba. She described the experience as “fantastic,” and noted that even though she was the only woman in a male-dominated cast, she never felt out of place. “I always felt included and thoroughly enjoyed myself,” she shared.
The idea for the film came after Cena and Elba worked together on The Suicide Squad. After that, they decided they wanted to team up again. With producer Peter Safran backing the project, ‘Heads of State’ came to life, and Priyanka joined as the leading lady.
Action Meets Comedy in This Blockbuster
‘Heads of State’ perfectly balances thrilling action with laugh-out-loud comedy, making it a must-watch.
The film has diverse action scenes, ranging from fights aboard Air Force One, train chases, to street battles with Polish punks and all while keeping things funny thanks to Cena and Elba’s chemistry.
While Priyanka may have missed the family screening, her excitement for the release is clear, and fans are just as ready to watch her shine in this high-energy ride.
