Manasvi Mamgai, who once held the title of Femina Miss India, recently had a special meeting in Rome with Pope Leo XIV. She was accompanied by iconic Hollywood actor Al Pacino and well-known producer Andrea Iervolino. This meeting made headlines because it was the first officially recorded audience between the first American pontiff and a film star.
Meeting Ahead of Maserati Film Shoot
Photos from the event were posted on Instagram by both the Miss India Organisation and Andrea Iervolino. According to Deadline, the meeting was held shortly before the filming of Maserati: The Brothers began in Rome. The movie is a biographical drama about Italy’s famous Maserati family and features stars like Pacino, Anthony Hopkins, and Andy Garcia. Manasvi is also involved in the project as a co-producer.
Manasvi’s Elegant Look for the Occasion
For this significant meeting, Manasvi dressed in an all-black, stylish outfit. She wore a double-breasted blazer with a deep V-shaped neckline and metallic gold buttons. The blazer had padded shoulders, full sleeves, front pockets, and a fitted silhouette. Underneath, she paired it with a black tank top that had a square neckline.
She completed the outfit with a black skirt. It had a straight yet flowing fit, a midi length, and ruffled embroidery at the hem, giving it an elegant A-line shape. Her accessories included a delicate diamond necklace, coordinating earrings, and black heels.
Her hair was styled in soft waves and parted in the center. For makeup, she wore bold brows, a plum lipstick, rosy cheeks, mascara-coated lashes, winged eyeliner, and a glowing highlighter for a polished look.
Purpose of the Visit
Producer Andrea Iervolino explained that the visit was a private audience arranged for the film’s team. Speaking to Deadline, he said, “The meeting was a moment of profound spiritual and cultural inspiration, centered around shared values that lie at the heart of both the Catholic Church and the film: family unity, love, compassion and the importance of contributing to the common good.”
The meeting was not just a symbolic gathering but a moment that blended cinema, culture, and spirituality. With Al Pacino leading the film and Manasvi Mamgai representing both India and global cinema, the event celebrated unity and creativity on a world stage.
