Kajol has finally addressed persistent rumours surrounding her husband Ajay Devgn’s alleged jealousy of her popular on-screen pairing with Shah Rukh Khan. Speaking to Times Now, the actress said the two men have nothing but mutual respect. Even if they aren’t exactly best friends, the respect is maintained.
Kajol also took the opportunity to speak about her and Ajay Devgn’s understanding relationship, especially when it comes to friendships.

When asked about Ajay‘s supposed insecurity regarding her chemistry and closeness with SRK, Kajol responded, “Nothing at all, they were pretty much rumours. Genuinely, nothing really happened. They weren’t like ‘Oh buddy, let’s share a beer,’ but today they truly respect each other.”
Kajol, known for her hit romantic films with Shah Rukh Khan, emphasized that these speculations were unfounded and blown out of proportion by the media.
Personal Boundaries in Marriage
She explained, “There’s no awkwardness, that’s a boundary really. As people, we are individuals. I will like some things, he will not like some things and vice versa.”
The couple, she said, respects each other’s circles and doesn’t feel the need to overlap them. “We both decided that that’s fine. As long as I don’t have to sit down and whatever, I am fine, you go ahead, have friends and do whatever you want,” she added.
Kajol also clarified that she never belonged to any so-called “Bollywood camp,” saying, “There weren’t camps, just friends or certain people who have worked with certain people… I didn’t have a camp, I worked with everybody.”
On the work front, Kajol will be seen next in Sarzameen. It is a thriller also featuring Prithviraj Sukumaran and Ibrahim Ali Khan. It’s set to premiere on JioHotstar on July 25. The thriller is much-awaited and fans all across are excited for the same.
