On Father’s Day, Bollywood stars utilized social media to share sentimental tributes and rare moments with their fathers. Among them, actor Anushka Sharma posted a warm message, giving a glimpse into how her daughter Vamika spent the day with a lovely note for her father, cricketer Virat Kohli.

On Sunday, Anushka took to Instagram and shared a series of photos. One photo featured her dad lounging in a chair, listening to music using headphones. But the showstopper of the post was Vamika’s hand-written note to Virat, which said, “He looks like my brother. He is funny. He tickles me. I play make-up with him. I love him so much and he loves me this much (arms wide). Happy Father’s Day.”
The note was signed simply “Vamika.”

In addition to the photos, Anushka posted, “To the first man I ever loved and the first man our daughter did… Happy Father’s Day to all the beautiful fathers everywhere.”

The post instantly won over fans’ hearts with many praising the cute message. “The way Vamika wrote her name,” a fan had something to say. Another said, “This is sooo cuteee,” while another had this to say, “Her writing, awwwww.” A standout comment was, “This has my whole heart,” and another had many of us thinking: “‘He looks like my brother’ omggg.”

Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli, two of India’s favorite celebrity couples, got married in 2017 in a small ceremony in Italy following a whirlwind romance. They had their daughter Vamika on January 11, 2021, and their son, Akaay, on February 15, 2024. The couple have always opted not to make their children public figures, keeping them private despite the public’s curiosity.

Although Anushka has been on a break from acting since her previous film, Zero (2018) opposite Shah Rukh Khan, she is all set to make her comeback in Chakda ‘Xpress, a biopic about cricketer Jhulan Goswami. The movie is pending release.
