Ahaan Pandey is all set to debut in ‘Saiyaara’, a romantic drama directed by Mohit Suri and produced by Yash Raj Films. The teaser released on Friday gives a peek into an emotional love story in which Ahaan essays a rockstar opposite Aneet Padda.

With its passion and yearning themes, the film has invited a flood of conflicting reactions online with some complimenting the visuals and direction by Mohit Suri while others have raised questions regarding the casting in the wake of nepotism controversies. Saiyaara will have a grand theatrical release on July 18, 2025.

Ahaan Pandey’s Big Break

From the teaser, it looks like Ahaan Pandey will play a rockstar who falls in love with Aneet Padda’s character in a story filled with passion, romance, and longing for love while the girl narrates what she has wanted her whole life and how she has found it in Ahaan’s character which is a shining star that guides but is always out of reach.

The teaser, when first released on X (formerly Twitter), Yash Raj Films wrote, “An intense love story that will break your heart and heal it too. #SaiyaaraTeaser out now. #Saiyaara only in cinemas on July 18.”

Mixed Reactions From Audience Over Teaser

Fans on social media are seeing the teaser in multiple ways, complementing the direction of Mohit Suri’s direction with the acting og Ahaan Pandey. Fans are also excited for the film’s soundtrack and featured songs. Social Media users are criticising the film because of the underlying nepotism.

“I see someone promising good work, idk why but I feel like this guy might just fall into the good nepo actor category” A social media user commented

“AHAAN IS SO DEADPAN WTF!!!! Yrf knows he sucks that’s why they didn’t let him say a word just like what Dharma did with Ibrahim.” A user on Reddit said. “Is it just me or Ahaan is not as bad as we all thought he’d be?” Another one said in contradiction.

The makers announced Saiyaara in February last year and now plan a grand nationwide release on July 18.
