Abhishek Bachchan has finally tackled the persistent gossip about his marriage. He spoke out against the wide‑spread claims that he and his wife, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, are splitting up.
In a recent interview with Instant Bollywood, he stated clearly, “I go back home to a happy family.” Moreover, he praised Aishwarya for shielding their home from outside noise: “One thing is for sure, first my mother (Jaya Bachchan) and now my wife (Aishwarya Rai Bachchan), they don’t allow that outside world to come in there.”
He Values Family and Privacy
Abhishek stressed that he knows how to filter online chatter. He said, “I have grown up in this film industry, so I also know what to take seriously and what not to take seriously. I don’t get affected by what’s happening on social media.”
He married Aishwarya in 2007. They share a daughter, Aaradhya Bachchan. Yet rumours of tension have dogged them for months.

It all started when the couple attended Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding separately. Later, Aishwarya shared photos from Aaradhya’s birthday without Abhishek or any Bachchan relatives. Then, he also skipped Aishwarya’s Cannes appearance this year. Consequently, tabloids painted a picture of discord.

Meanwhile, Amitabh Bachchan appeared to join the conversation. He posted a thoughtful message on social media criticizing baseless speculation. Without naming names, he wrote: “I rarely say much about family, because that is my domain and its privacy is maintained by me .. I shall not challenge their desire to be in the profession of their choice .. and I shall appreciate their effort in serving society ..
