Aamir Khan has made a thunderous return to the big screen with Sitaare Zameen Par, which raked in ₹59 crore at the domestic box office in its opening weekend.
Impressive Growth Over Three Days

Sacnilk reported a 57.83% occupancy on Sunday afternoon, which further surged to 72.31% by evening, indicating strong audience interest.
“It’s the first instance where a film that opened around ₹10.5 crore net went on to cross ₹60 crore in the first weekend,” said the report.
Critical Reception and Cast
Directed by RS Prasanna, Sitaare Zameen Par stars Aamir Khan alongside Genelia Deshmukh, Brijendra Kala, Dolly Ahluwalia, and features 10 debutant neurodivergent actors.
Critic Saibal Chatterjee rated the film 3.5 out of 5 stars, praising its emotional depth, humor, and sports-driven energy. He applauded Aamir Khan’s performance, calling it a striking comeback after the lukewarm Laal Singh Chaddha.
The Road Ahead
