Dubai Firm Issues Apology Over Misleading UAE Golden Visa Info

Dubai-based consultancy Rayad Group issued a formal apology on Wednesday for spreading false information about the UAE Golden Visa scheme. The company had claimed in media reports that the UAE was offering lifetime golden visas for a one-time fee of ₹23.30 lakh — a statement now refuted by the UAE’s immigration authority.

UAE authorities dismiss visa claims

The UAE’s Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP) denied the validity of these reports, clarifying that such a visa product does not exist. “These claims have no legal basis and were made without coordination with the relevant authorities in the UAE,” the ICP said in a statement, adding that all applications must go through official government channels.

Rayad Group accepts fault

In its statement, Rayad Group admitted its error and acknowledged that the remarks by its Managing Director contributed to the misinformation. “We apologise unreservedly for the public confusion… and take full responsibility for ensuring future communications are clear,” the group stated. The firm clarified it neither offers nor supports any guaranteed visa or fixed-price program and announced the discontinuation of its private Golden Visa advisory services.

ICP warns public against fraudulent schemes

The ICP reiterated that visa processes are managed only through official platforms and warned against falling for scams. It also announced plans for legal action against parties spreading such falsehoods. “Do not respond to inaccurate rumours or submit personal documents to unauthorised entities,” the authority cautioned, urging the public to verify information through official sources.
