Elon Musk Hints at Steve Bannon Link to Epstein List, Sparks Online Frenzy

Keeping up with his attack on President Donald Trump’s administration, his previous ‘First Buddy,’ Elon Musk, made a bombshell allegation regarding Steve Bannon, former advisor and Trump’s close personal aide. Musk alleged in an X post Tuesday that Bannon is on the infamous Jeffrey Epstein client list. He, though, failed to provide any proof to support the allegations.

Bannon–Elon Musk Feud Escalates with Personal Attacks

Musk’s claim about Bannon being on the Epstein files is the latest iteration of the duo’s long-brewing feud. It all started with Bannon blasting Trump on his War Room podcast, snubbing Musk’s claims about forming a new party, saying, “Only a foreigner could do this.” He added that Musk should be deported. Musk, not someone to let personal attacks pass, called Bannon a “fat, drunken slob” and said that he will “go back to prison and this time for a long time.”

Elon Musk Escalates Epstein File Row

On top of that, Musk’s statement that Bannon is in the Epstein files comes in the context of Attorney General Pam Bondi saying earlier this week that there will no longer be any releases of the Epstein files. It fueled rumors that the files were not being made public, as AG Bondi had vowed to do in the past, in order to protect members of the Trump administration who might be in the files. Musk’s Tuesday remark about Bannon was only fueling such allegations.

Trump Shuts Down Epstein Questions at Cabinet Meeting

President Donald Trump hosted the sixth meeting of his second cabinet on Tuesday since assuming office as President earlier this year. In the midst of increasing pressure on the Trump administration regarding Pam Bondi’s assertion that such a client list of Epstein does not exist, one reporter questioned the Attorney General during the meeting, which, as with past cabinet meetings, was available for the press. But Trump berated the reporter, declaring that Epstein questions “seem like a desecration.”

“Are you still talking about Jeffrey Epstein? This guy’s been talked about for years,” Trump said. “At a time like this, where we’re having some of the greatest success and also tragedy with what happened in Texas, it just seems like a desecration.”
