In a world where visibility trumps substance, there are those who will stop at nothing to get attention. Vienna Wurstel, a Majorca, Spain, social media influencer, is a case in point. Famous for her drastic cosmetic enhancements, Vienna became viral fame for her outrageously large lips and her efforts to enlarge them even further.
Chasing the Title of ‘World’s Largest Lips
Vienna proudly boasts to have the ‘largest lips in the world’. In spite of becoming a regular target for the world of internet mockery with trolls comparing her lips to ‘fat, round momos’ she will not let negative remarks get in her way. “I won’t give up here,” she states. “I want to do even more.”
Her fixation with cosmetic surgeries started when she was 18. Since then, Vienna has already spent an eye-watering $160,000 (approximately Rs. 1.3 crore) on beauty surgeries, of which around £37,000 (almost Rs. 39 lakh) was spent entirely on lip uplifts alone.
Her makeover hasn’t ended at her mouth. Vienna has had several other surgeries, such as breast enlargement, eye and lip lifts, cheek and chin implants, and a Brazilian butt lift. Now she claims her body holds “more plastic than body fat.”
Regular Lip Filler Appointments
To preserve her overblown appearance, Vienna returns repeatedly from Majorca to Frankfurt at times as regularly as weekly for lip fillers. “Sometimes weekly, or every two to four weeks. I want to be noticed to be extreme,” she says.
But with notoriety comes criticism. Numerous critics ridicule her appearance in public and on social media, even going so far as to say that her plastic surgeon must be ‘punished’. Some have candidly said that she appears “horrible.”
In spite of recognizing that her augmented lips sometimes interfere with eating, speaking, or breathing, Vienna is not bothered by the criticism. “I’m making the version of myself I want to see, no matter what anyone says,” she insists.
