The internet never fails to surprise, and its newest viral craze is no exception. Social media has been left gobsmacked after footage emerged of what could be the world’s skinniest car, so disproportionately slim, many people are left wondering how it works at all.
The video, posted on Instagram, shows an Italian inventor driving a wildly reduced Fiat Panda. The car’s four wheels are retained but stretched so close together that the body has been reduced to the barest essentials. What is left is a strange but completely functional one-man car that looks like a rolling stick and has the internet in stitches.
In the viral clip, the inventor zooms with ease through roads in his extremely narrow vehicle, turning heads everywhere he passes. The video generated a quick wave of reactions online, with people alternating between awe and ridicule.

Social Media Reactions
“This car has got to be under budget,” one commenter joked.
Someone else chimed in with, “I wanna see him cut a corner at high speed like those motorcycle racers.”
Others couldn’t help but mock its size. “Math problem: What is the perimeter of John’s car? Solution: 20 cm length, 4 cm width,” one quipped.
Maybe the most viral post was from a person who likened the car’s tight proportions to city life, “This guy is driving a New York apartment.”
“That is a toothpick,” another user joined in, encapsulating what everyone else was thinking.
Another Incident
While the svelte Fiat Panda remix makes waves everywhere, it’s not the first time automobiles have evoked strong feelings online.
A family in Gujarat was the talk of the town last year when they went all out and held a full-fledged funeral for their 12-year-old Wagon R. Very much attached to the vehicle and convinced that it had brought them immense fortune, the family went all out reportedly shelling out Rs. 4 lakh for the rites.
The emotional ceremony featured ancient rituals and a 15-foot deep grave, attracting a turnout of approximately 1,500 people. The car, which was festooned in marigold garlands and rose petals, was sent off with respect, a poignant reminder of just how much people can bond with their motor vehicles.
