“India Knows the Value of Peace”: Gautam Adani Hails Operation Sindoor and Armed Forces

Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani on Tuesday paid tribute to the Indian armed forces and praised the success of Operation Sindoor, a strategic military operation launched last month to target terror sites in Pakistan and PoK.

Speaking at the 33rd Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Adani Group shareholders, Mr Adani said:

“This year, during Operation Sindoor, our brave men and women in uniform stood tall. Not for fame, not for medals — but for duty. Their courage reminded us that peace is never free; it is earned.”

He added,

“Operation Sindoor showed that India knows the value of peace, but if someone shows us an eye, we know how to respond in their language.”

Adani Defence’s Role in the Operation

Gautam Adani also revealed that Adani Defence’s drones played a significant role in the mission.

“Our drones became the eyes in the skies and swords of attack. Our anti-drone systems helped protect our forces and citizens. We operate where it matters — where India needs us the most.”

Tribute to Air India Crash Victims

Mr Adani also mourned the tragic Air India crash in Ahmedabad on June 12, in which over 250 people were killed when a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner crashed shortly after takeoff.

“So many dreams were silenced in an instant. So many families were forever changed. We bow our heads in grief.”

He closed his remarks by saying that gratitude and grief must go hand-in-hand as a reminder of what truly matters.
