Truth Social went offline across the U.S. on Saturday evening, shortly after US President Donald Trump declared that the U.S. had bombed Iranian nuclear sites. By 8:20 p.m. EDT, DownDetector received over 1,700 reports of outages. Users complained about server issues on both the app and the website.
Truth Social seems to be down. Anyone else able to get on?

Trump Confirms U.S. Strike on Iran
Minutes before the crash, Trump posted on Truth Social, “We have completed our very successful attack on the three Nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan.”
He added, “All planes are now outside of Iran air space. A full payload of BOMBS was dropped on the primary site, Fordow. All planes are safely on their way home.”
In the same post, he praised the U.S. military, “Congratulations to our great American Warriors. There is not another military in the World that could have done this. NOW IS THE TIME FOR PEACE!”
“Fordow is Gone,” Says Trump
Shortly after the first post, Trump shared another message. He wrote simply: “Fordow is gone.” This appeared to reference the heavily fortified underground nuclear facility near Natanz.
B-2 Bombers Lead the Operation
Earlier that day, the U.S. deployed B-2 stealth bombers to Guam. A U.S. official later confirmed to Reuters that these bombers took part in the strikes. However, officials have not disclosed the exact munitions used. The White House and Pentagon have not released further details.
Iran Yet to Respond
Iran’s government has not issued an official response. It is also unclear whether Israeli forces were involved in this specific wave of strikes.
Iran Had Warned Against U.S. Involvement
Earlier in the week, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Iran’s Supreme Leader, warned, “Any attacks on the Islamic Republic will result in irreparable damage for them.”
In addition, Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei had said, “Any American intervention would be a recipe for an all-out war in the region.”
